Using a new simple online application form, nominations can be submitted by individuals, by others in the industry or by the general public.
Shortlisted entries then compete in 13 regional categories, each of which is aligned with the Scottish Tourism Strategy 2020, reinforcing links between the industry and the prestigious awards programme.
To make a nomination all you need to do is complete a simple nomination form. The organisers will then contact the nominees with a quick online application form to complete.
Businesses and individuals wishing to enter can skip the nomination process and fill in the web application form directly.
Nominations close on 18 May 2014. Award applications close on Friday 13th June 2014.
For the first time, the Scottish Thistle Awards will be led by several organisations, including VisitScotland, the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland, Scottish Tourism Alliance, Highlands & Islands Tourism Awards and the Scottish Licensed Trade Association. This means that members of the industry will now play a key role in recognising and honouring the success of individuals and businesses.
