Ancestral Tourism Workshops across Scotland in October and November 2013

The workshops run from early October to early December. Check our Events page for listings.

Date : 30/09/2013

As more and more people become interested in researching their family roots, ancestral tourism presents new and exciting year-round commercial opportunities.

Scottish tourism businesses are being encouraged to adapt their products and services to tap into the ancestral tourism market in the run up to 2014, when Scotland welcomes the world for Homecoming, the Ryder Cup and Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Tourism Intelligence Scotland is running a series of Ancestral Tourism workshops to help businesses identify the opportunities that Scotland’s ancestral tourism market offers.

The workshops run from early October to the end of November – visit our Events page to register for any of the workshops and get more details.
