Highland Business Week 2015

Inverness to host series of business seminars, networking opportunities and exhibitions

Inverness Chamber of Commerce have organised a series of events as part of their Highland Business Week 2015 event running from the 21 September to the 25 September at various venues across the city.

 

The week will include networking sessions and seminars, the Highland Spotlight business exhibition and the annual Highland Business Awards lunch. The week provides companies excellent opportunities to make new business connections and celebrate their achievements with others.

 

Businesses based in the Highlands have an opportunity to attend a seminar held by The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s North Highland and Island Group who will be presenting an update to employment law pertinent to SME’s, including key employment issues for business owners and managers.

 

At Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness, delegates can attend the Highlands’ only dedicated business to business exhibition which is an ideal opportunity to showcase products and services on offer and a chance to network with new contacts and suppliers, exploring possible new business opportunities.

 

An event held at the Thistle Hotel in Inverness will explain how businesses can support young social entrepreneurs develop skills whilst also making a difference to their local community.

 

Finally, the Highland Business Awards lunch held at Drumossie Hotel, Inverness will round off the week. The event will recognise the contribution made by businesses and individuals within the Highlands and Islands business community.
