EICC Innovation Series: June to November 2015

A programme of monthly lectures designed to celebrate innovation and creativity in Scotland

Event Date: 26/05/2015 - 30/11/2015

Edinburgh International Conference City (EICC) is hosting a programme of monthly lectures, designed to celebrate innovation and creativity in Scotland. Every month’s talk will focus on one of the nation’s key industries and will feature an inspirational key note speaker.

There are a total of seven lectures taking place through until November 2015, with an innovation technology talk in June. All of the events have free admission and an opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals and businesses.

The programme will cover a wide scope of topics relating to Scotland’s key industries, ranging from innovation in city businesses to culture and the arts, and how festivals such as the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which has increased both performer and visitor numbers over the past five years, have contributed to the tourism industry.

As digital technology is constantly evolving, Microsoft’s Director for Scotland, Chris Forrest, will be one of the key note speakers at next month’s lecture, on 22 June. Chris will be sharing an insight into future technology and creative ways to make the most of digital opportunities.

For more information about the whole Innovation Series, and for tickets, book on the EICC website.
