Thursday 11th June at The Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort in Cumbernauld
The Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA) and Institute of Hospitality (IOH) are hosting a Midsummer conference, Exhibition and BBQ Networking lunch at The Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort in Cumbernauld.
The day tees off with the Midsummer conference giving businesses the opportunity to find out more about STA and get involved with the group whilst also receiving the latest update on how STA’s Tourism Scotland 2020 strategy is progressing.
Following the conference and exhibition, there will be the chance to meet other businesses over a networking BBQ lunch with the option to play in the afternoon Golf Tournament between 14:30 – 20:00.
As an independent body consisting of over 250 trade associations, businesses, destination groups and other organisations with an interest in tourism, the STA represents a significant proportion of the tourism industry.
STA’s National Tourism Scotland 2020 strategy was launched in June 2012 in order to target the markets that offer the country the greatest growth potential, collaborate within and across Scotland’s tourism destinations and develop the authentic memorable experiences which today’s visitors expect.
