Ski resort could open this weekend

First fall of snow signals start of Scotland???s ski season

One of Scotland’s mountain ski resorts could open as soon as this weekend after the first fall of snow last week. 

Cairngorm Mountain destination, near Aviemore, which is home to the UK’s highest Funicular Railway is reportedly aiming to begin the winter sports season as soon as Friday 12 December if the current conditions continue. 

Other resorts such as the Nevis Range, Glencoe Mountain Resort and Glenshee resort are expected to open later this month.
