The Co-operative Development Scotland Collaboration Prize 2014 is now open for entries. Scottish businesses have the chance to win a share of the £30,000 prize fund to help develop their consortium idea which will this year be judged under three categories - marketing, tendering and innovating.

  • Tendering - Companies considering tendering with other business to secure contracts they couldn’t alone and sharing the burden often associated with the tendering process
  • Innovating - Companies developing collaborations that deliver innovation - research and development, new products and services, new ways of doing things and fresh ideas.

Co-operative Development Scotland is working in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Scottish Council for Development and Industry, Business Gateway and Supplier Development Programme.

The aim of the competition is to encourage businesses to consider the economic and business benefits of collaboration, the three winning concepts will be announced by the end of February 2015 with each receiving a cash prize of £5,000 and £5,000 worth of support.
