Commonwealth Games Travel Plans Now Live

Detailed travel plans for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games are now available online to assist local businesses.

Detailed travel plans for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games venues are available on the Get Ready Glasgow website under the travel advice section to assist local businesses in preparation for the eleven days of sport at the Games in July 2014, and can be accessed at getreadyglasgow.com.

The Get Ready Glasgow website also provides information on the work being carried out to keep the city functioning in the lead up to and during the Games, in an effort to ensure the city is prepared to welcome athletes and visitors from around the world.

Tourism businesses can also download a Games Tourism Toolkit developed by the Organising Committee of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in partnership with Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and VisitScotland. 

The toolkit contains advice and a range of assets including a Games Welcome Badge, web banners and approved text, to help tourism businesses play their part in welcoming visitors to Scotland, in the lead up to and during the Commonwealth Games.
