'At Risk of Being Left Behind,’ a 2 hour session aimed at all Scottish hoteliers, planners, destination managers, bankers, tour operators, developers, investors and professional advisers.
The session is designed to answer the question “What are the prospects for the hotel sector in Scotland and the contribution it can make to our future tourism competitiveness?”
This discussion group brings together four acknowledged experts in different aspects of the hotel industry to air their views and stimulate discussion. This session should appeal to all with an interest in this vital component of our tourism industry.
The speakers are:
- Russell Kett, Chairman for HVS London
- Mike Saul, Managing Director of Hospitality and Leisure for Barclays Bank
- Ruaridh Macdonald, Sales and Operations Director for Macdonald Hotels
- Alister McCutchion, Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels and Hospitality Group
The session will be facilitated by Graeme White, Head of Tourism at Scottish Development International, whose responsibilities include the promotion of Scottish hotel investment opportunities.
