Eat Drink Discover Scotland, a three day celebration of Scotland’s excellence in food and drink, has recently launched its new website and is inviting Scottish food and drink businesses to get involved.
Aiming to bring to life the rich diversity of regional Scottish food and drink, the event will showcase Scottish produce to the public with the offer to sample and buy.
The event takes place at The Highland Hall, Edinburgh, from 12th-14th September 2014 with exhibition space divided into geographic regions featuring local producers from each area; offering the chance for consumers to taste their way round Scotland, in one day, under one roof.
The event is now open to exhibitors and provides the opportunity for smaller rural food producers to share centre stage with more established brands.
There will be trade networking opportunities on the Friday of the event with a specific remit to encourage business collaboration, initiate “meet-the- buyer” sessions and offer workshops on subjects including product presentation, market understanding and supply chain and relationship management.
Exhibitor spaces and the timetable are expected to fill up quickly - Scottish food and drink businesses are being urged to secure their presence at the event as soon as they can to avoid disappointment.
The new website www.eastdrinkdiscoverscotland.co.uk hosts all exhibitor information such as early bird incentives and opportunities to showcase demonstrations, new products or particular food and drink making skills.
